Berner’s Drugstore Cowboy Artwork Goes Viral

Taylor Gang Entertainment’s Berner has been hard at work as of lately with the recent launching of his and Wiz Khalifa’s new FreshKo clothing brand, his new Hemp2o brand and his fan favorite Cookies brand.  Let’s not forget Berner has also been working hard to release his next quality musical project titled “Drugstore Cowboy”.

Besides the money-making investments, the Cookies CEO has been in the studio heavy with friend and producer Cozmo Beats. Coz has produced some notable songs for Berner like “Clear” and “Get On” (both featured on Urban Farmer) and “Wide Open” featuring Project Pat.  This time Berner taps into Cozmo for full production credit on  “Drugstore Cowboy” and has some big name features in store for the album from the likes of Taylor Gang Captain Wiz Khalifa, San Francisco Legend Suga Free, and Po Pimp rappers Do Or Die to name a few.

The type of quality music that we’ve grown accustom to hearing from Berner has been documented all over the ‘net and Bern has also been able to come up with some big names on features. The San Francisco native has collaborated with artists such as Chris Brown ( “Shut Up” 2012, “Yoko” 2011), Too $hort, Ty Dolla $ign (“Go Deep” 2013), and Wiz Khalifa on his highly touted “Paradise” (2013). Though “Drugstore Cowboy” was originally set to release on June 11 it has since been pushed back to sometime in July.

Air Yeezy 2 Bigger Release Date Than “Yeezus” Album?

If there’s one thing that’s for certain it’s that Kanye West has a knack for building public excitement.  Whether it’s with new sneakers or music, you can bet that Mr. West always finds a way to keep the anticipation on the rise.  On June 18, fans will finally be able to get their hands on Ye’s sixth studio recorded album titled “Yeezus”.  However, what seems to have perhaps sparked even more of an interest in sneaker enthusiasts is the mysterious upcoming release for the red color way of the Nike Air Yeezy 2.  Still, this begs the question of what will be demanding the most attention.  Will it be the new and illusive red color way or will the excitement for the album outweigh the hype?

It should also be noted that there will be no pre order options available for “Yeezus” and it is set for a hard release date physically and digitally for June 18.  This recent announcement came as a shock and has only helped to build more buzz for the album along with its highly controversial title.  With Yeezy’s bold marketing schemes and brash promotion, it’s only natural popular demand for his latest project has been on the incline and causing a frenzy.  Recently, the internet has also been scrambling to pinpoint the actual finalized artwork for the album.

It would appear that Kanye’s thoughtful planning has also built the perfect buzz for the release of his new sneaker color way by strategically leaking several cut off pics that only feature but a portion of the shoe.  Further, popular stars like Rihanna and Jay-Z have been spotted out and about sporting their Nike Air Yeezy’s. The previous Air Yeezy 2 release did exceptionally well (retail price of $250) with Nike only delivering 500 of each color way.  The limited release also found its way onto Ebay and boasted an incredible $90,000 resale value.

So do you think the “Red Air Yeezy 2″ will make a bigger impact than Yeezus? Give us your thoughts in the comments!
