Watch “Welcome to Noisey Atlanta” | Trailer

The film-makers at Noisey have put together a very interesting trailer that shows off the music and entertainment scene in Atlanta. After doing a documentary style web series on Chicago (Noisey Chiraq) now they head to do the same in ATL. Where they see everyone from 2 Chainz to Gucci Mane this web series is slated to release on January 13th. Let us know what you think about the video in the comments!

From the makers of Noisey Chiraq, a new 10-part series documenting unprecedented access into the Atlanta rap scene. Hosted by Vice / HBO / Noisey’s Thomas Morton and directed by Andy Capper, the series stars artists like 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, Jeezy, upcoming stars like the Grammy-nominated iLoveMakonnen, and also spends time with the new wave of super-producers like Mike Will Made-It (Miley Cyrus), Metro Boomin, and 808 Mafia.

The series goes behind the songs and into the trap houses, neighborhoods, problems, and solutions that have inspired the wheelhouse behind one of America’s most vibrant and influential music scenes. Also featuring appearances by the Atlanta Police Department, gang members, the ATL Twins and Curtis Snow (Snow On Da Bluff), we attempt to illustrate the complex and vibrant rap scene and what that culture means to the city.

Part 1 drops January 13th.

Royce Rizzy- Sacrifices(ft. King Mez & Chox-Mak) | New Music

Atlanta based up and comer Royce Rizzy who is also the newest signee to RCA Records has been making quite a name for himself. While also being managed by hip hop legend Jermaine Dupree he is learning more and more about how the game works everyday. Connecting with fellow rising artists King Mez and familiar face to the BlogOrDiePGH wall Chox-Mak he knew that he would have a guaranteed hit on his hands. Chox-Mak is currently taking the internet by storm every week with releasing something for his fans and building something major with DJ YRS Jerzy. And King Mez happens to be one of J. Cole’s artists under Dreamville. The production on the new release “Sacrifices” was brought by DJ Profluent who is also the president of the top rating DJ coalition “Fleet DJs”. This single is something that will have your head nodding from the delivery and word play that is brought. Definitely look out for more music from all three of these talented artists in the near future.

Migos Presents “Bando” The Short Film | Video

With all the success and notoriety the Migos have gained since releasing their critically acclaimed mixtape Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas)The Migos have steamrolled into a mega group.  With “Bando” being one of their most popular songs and the cornerstone of their uprise in the game they decided to make a short film after it. The fifteen minute visual shows each member living out their respective lives in the days when they were coming up as minors and artists. Now when you hear the word musical your probably thinking broadway, something of that sort and when you see the Migos rendition of a musical, you get BANDO.
